Mayfair Announces Catan Histories: Merchants of Europe

Posted: September 29, 2012 in Uncategorized

Coming soon to a store near you, another version of the Catan Histories (which has included Germany and the US so far).

From Mayfair…

In the late Middle Ages, trade flourished across Europe as great merchant houses like the Hanseatic League, the Welser family and Fugger family rediscovered ancient trade routes and built factories across the land. Now you can take part in these historic times with anew game from Klaus Teuber, “Catan Histories: Merchants of Europe.”

“Catan Histories: Merchants of Europe” uses the Catan® hex and resource system to recreate the growth of the merchant class across medieval Europe. Collect and trade resources to expand trade routes and trading posts. Build caravans to transport your goods to market before your rivals do. Can you expand your trading network more quickly and efficiently and become the most powerful merchant in all of Europe? “Merchants of Europe” has an estimated street date for November 2012.

Keep an eye out on the Mayfair page for more information, and look for the game soon!
