Posted: September 18, 2012 in Uncategorized

The Deutscher Spiele Preis is an award that is best referred to as a “gamer’s choice” award – and usually targets Eurogames.  It is decided by internet voting – and anyone, even you, can vote.

However, voting for this year is over, and Village is the winner!

The other nominees were:

  1. TRAJAN by Stefan Feld
  2. HAWAII by Gregory Daigle
  3. ORA ET LABORA by Uwe Rosenberg
  4. HELVETIA by Matthias Cramer
  5. TARGI by Andreas Steiger
  6. KINGDOM BUILDER by Donald X. Vaccarino
  7. VEGAS by Rüdiger Dorn
  8. AFRICANA by Michael Schacht
  9. SANTA CRUZ by Marcel-André Casasola Merkle

You can see more at the website, although it is mostly in German.  Congratulations to all nominees and winners!
